Working with information security at BTH
Information security is about protecting information so that it is available to the right people, remains correct and does not fall into the wrong hands. It is a shared responsibility that helps protect individuals, organisations and society as a whole.
Here you can find information about how to work securely and how BTH approaches information security.
Think securely – you and I can make a difference
Information security is something we create together. By thinking about how you handle information, you help protect both BTH and others.
Confidentiality
We all have a responsibility not to share information unnecessarily.
Personal data can be used for identity theft, to harm or threaten individuals, or in cyberattacks.
Other sensitive information can be used to harm BTH’s operations or compromise Sweden’s security.

Integrity
Make sure that the information you use or share can be trusted.
This helps protect Sweden and Swedish interests from information influence and contributes to a safer world.
Availability
Information must be available to the right people, at the right time and in a format they can use.
Access to information is essential for us to provide education, conduct research and carry out the work of the Central Administration.
Report incidents
Security incidents must be reported as soon as possible to reduce the risk of harm and ensure that appropriate action can be taken.
