If you aim to create sustainable cities, develop new technology and products, or lead change in other ways, BTH is a great place to start.

Studies that create opportunities

Our programmes give you theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills. They are designed in collaboration with relevant industry partners to meet the needs of society and to prepare you for a successful career.

"The education here goes beyond theory. We are constantly encouraged to apply what we learn through practical work. I believe this prepares us for real industry challenges and makes the education at BTH a worthwhile investment for my future career.
One of my favourite experiences so far was the ’International Fika’, where students from different countries shared snacks from their cultures. The campus itself overlooks the Baltic Sea, which creates a very peaceful and therapeutic environment. BTH exceeded my expectations."

Close cooperation with the industry

We believe in combining studies with real-life experiences. Through projects and collaborations with companies, you will have the chance to apply your knowledge and make valuable contacts for the future.

"The best thing about the degree programme is the easy access to the lecturers, who are almost always available to answer questions and are also willing to explain things again. There is also everything a mechanical engineer needs, from a machine laboratory to very modern computer rooms."

Student life by the Baltic Sea

Our campus is located in beautiful Blekinge, where the forest meets the sea. Here you can enjoy a unique study environment with proximity to nature, while at the same time having access to an active student life with associations and activities.

I really enjoy living in Karlskrona. The weather is pleasant, and it is close to the sea. Although the city is not very large, there are still many places to visit and explore, and the restaurants are nice. As a PhD student, I can also join sports activities such as table tennis, badminton, and ice-skating lessons, which are very enjoyable ways to spend the weekends. Overall, it has been even better than I expected.
