Admission to the course requires the student to have completed 15 credit points C or C++-programming, 15 credit points 3D-programming, 6 credit points Objectoriented Design, 6 credit points Algorithms and Data Structures, 6 credit points Realtime Systems or Operating Systems, 6 credit points Linear Algebra and 4 credit points Professional Technical Communication.
The aim of the course is to deepen and broaden the knowledge and understanding on modern real-time rendering programming interfaces. The student will critically identify, design, implement, benchmark and document a real-time rendering and/or computing technique where central processing unit (CPU) and graphics processor unit (GPU) interactions are central.
