Admission to the course requires completed courses in Microeconomics for Decision Markers 6 credits and Mathematical statistics, 6 credits. In addition, taken courses of 12 credits in Industrial Economics and Management. is required. English 6.
The aim of the course is to deepen the student's ability to analyze the relationships between competition, market forms and corporate strategy. The aim is also that the student develops knowledge of new analytical tools, e.g. game theory, which are used to analyze strategy and strategic interaction between companies under different competitive conditions. In particular, the course aims to develop the student's understanding of how production technologies provide space for product differentiation, and its implications for corporate strategy.
