Admission to the course requires a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in a technical area alternatively 60 completed credits in the main field of study Technology and taken Bachelor’s thesis in the main field of study Technology. English 6.
The aim of the course is for students to practice applying the acquired knowledge in groups to realistic industrial or innovation projects. The course applies knowledge from previous and parallel studies focusing on the Conceive and Design phases of the CDIO model. Students will apply and reflect on interpersonal engineering skills such as project management, teamwork, and communication. The student gets the opportunity to develop skills and abilities for mechanical engineering product development and thus prepares for the mechanical engineering profession in the industry.
