The aim of the course is for the student to acquire knowledge of and practice the ability to apply semi-analytical and numerical methods for computational engineering analysis for decision support in product development, as well as the value of effective collaborative use of mathematical and physical models. Evaluation of outcomes from completed modeling and simulation aims to contribute to a deeper insight into the strengths and limitations of the methods.
