Admission to the course require 30 completed credits consisting credts from courses in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent, and include courses Object Oriented Programming, 5 credits, Algorithms and Data Structures, 5 credits and Operating Systems, 5 credits. Engelska 6.

Today's organizations produce a large amount of data. This course covers how this data can be used for cybersecurity purposes. The course aims for the students to learn how to acquire (for example through SIEM) and prepare security data, from collection and storage to management and analysis as well as visualization and presentation, how data can be analyzed to predict malicious behavior and correlate security events. This course provides an understanding of learning how to understand and communicate security issues.
