Admission to the course requires completed courses comprising 10 credits of programming and 5 credits in software development or introduction to software engineering.
The purpose of the course is to offer basic and advanced knowledge in requirements management for the development of software-intensive systems and products. The course provides both theoretical analysis skills and practical application of methods and techniques for requirements management. In particular focus are structured requirements specifications according to an established artifact model that reflects both the research front and current industry practice, and that works for different development philosophies (e.g. agile or plan-driven development). The course also focuses on considering requirements management as a holistic discipline that is inextricably integrated into the software development cycle.
