Welcome to the Master’s Programme in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design, 120 credits
We are very pleased to welcome you to the Master Programme in Sustainable Planning and Design.
We expect to greet you at BTH, Campus Karlskrona, on 31 August for the first day. We will provide updates via email about the time and location for the programme introduction. Keep an eye on your inbox for further details!

If you are required to pay tuition fees, make sure to pay by 15 May to keep your place. If admitted to a campus programme, apply for your residence permit as soon as possible. Further information is available on bth.se and Swedish Migration Agency.
During the programme you will explore contemporary challenges in spatial planning, urban development, and sustainability through lectures, seminars, and project-based work. The programme brings together students from diverse backgrounds, and we encourage you to engage actively, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another.

Program and course information
Information about the programme from the programme manager, and information about courses from the course manager can be found on the respective page in Canvas. Attendance at programme and course roll calls is always mandatory. If you cannot attend for any reason, you must inform the programme or course manager.

Preparations
Information about the program structure and individual courses is available in the course syllabi. Some courses may provide preparatory readings or introductory materials before the start of the semester. Any such information will be communicated through the learning platform canvas prior to the beginning of the course.
Learning platform and equipment
BTH expects all students to have access to their own computer. There is only limited access to computers in our computer labs on campus. You also need access to a webcam, headset with microphone and internet connection for digital lessons. Here you can find recommendations on the performance of your computer.

Once you have activated your student account and registered for a course, you have access to programme and course pages in Canvas. Here you will find more information about Canvas, Zoom and other digital tools that you have access to at BTH.
