AI in Everyday Life - Open Lectures
Artificial intelligence is impacting more and more parts of our society - from work and government to healthcare. During this lecture evening, you will meet three researchers who will talk about how AI is used today, what it means for us humans and what ethical and practical issues the technology raises.
Moderator is Eva Pettersson. We offer coffee and the evening ends with a question panel where you have the chance to ask your questions. Feel free to invite colleagues, friends, family and acquaintances to this event that is open to everyone. No prior knowledge is required - just curiosity.
Lectures during the evening:
Niklas Lavesson, professor - Artificial intelligence as support in daily work
What tasks can be solved more efficiently with the help of AI technology? What are the opportunities and risks of using AI technology for daily tasks? What types of tasks are well suited to the use of AI technology and what tasks are we humans better at solving?
Anton Borg, Associate Professor - How is AI used in government agencies?
How are AI models used today by Swedish government agencies? And what should you consider when using AI systems? Or building your own AI systems? And are there rules that government agencies must adhere to?
Charlotte Romare, Senior Lecturer - AI in healthcare: opportunities and challenges
The increased use of AI in healthcare is described with the help of clinical examples in areas such as imaging, monitoring and decision support. Furthermore, ethical issues linked to AI use in healthcare are highlighted. Is AI something that will revolutionize healthcare or can it actually create more uncertainty and increased workload?
