As a BTH researcher, you can publish open access free of charge through the Bibsam agreements.
On this page, you’ll find more information about the agreements, the different publishing models, and how to discover journals where the publishing fee is already covered.
Prepaid publication fees
The National Library of Sweden is working towards a transition to open access publishing. Through the national Bibsam agreements, BTH has already covered article processing charges (APCs) or secured discounted fees in a wide range of scholarly journals.
Conditions for publication
In order to publish free of charge under these agreements, the corresponding author must be affiliated with BTH and the article must be based on research conducted at the university. This affiliation must be clearly stated in the manuscript and in the published article and the author should always use their BTH e-mail address when submitting the manuscript.
Regardless of which publication method the researcher chooses - green, gold or hybrid - the research must be peer-reviewed. The Royal Library has produced an overview of the different Creative Commons licenses suitable for researchers and a guide to the different types of open access.
