Combined Mobility in Blekinge

Combined mobility in Blekinge has the overall goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions from passenger transport in Blekinge by, with behavioral influence and technical aids, getting residents to travel more sustainably and provide positive effects on the environment.

Objective

To develop the opportunities for Blekinge residents to choose and combine different means of transport to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

The project also aims to give more groups in society increased mobility and accessibility to the labor market and services and provide socio-economic positive effects and increased growth as a result. The technical tool will have been tested and fully developed for continued use after the end of the project.

Implementation

By working to increase knowledge and understanding of residents' behavior, values and attitudes, various activities will be carried out to be able to provide increased opportunities to choose and combine different means of transport.

Mapping and analysis of residents' behaviors as well as communication and information efforts will be carried out within the project.

New solutions to meet the needs of residents and to combine different means of transport will facilitate the use of public transport. A digital mobile service developed within the project will provide a better whole-trip perspective and give residents better cycling opportunities.

The regional network will be involved in various activities and information initiatives and evaluations.
