GoLD - Governance in Large-Scale Distributed Agile Software Development

To succeed, software companies need to be able to deliver value and innovation to their customers at a faster pace while maintaining high quality standards. The telecom industry is even more demanding due to the fierce competition and the extreme emphasis on quality and speed. At the same time, customers' needs are becoming more uncertain.

Purpose of the project

This research project focuses on determining how to balance the needs of governance and quality control in large-scale distributed organizations and the needs of team autonomy.

Implementation

Our intention is to provide actionable guidelines for scaling agile governance in a distributed context and reported knowledge to be aware of organizational contexts where team autonomy is inherently hindered.
