RASSIE - Robust Active Sensor System in Disturbed Environments

The project focuses on developing robust sensor systems that can operate effectively in high-interference environments, which can improve safety and performance in various industrial applications.

Aim of the project

The ultimate goal of the project is to develop resilient radar systems. To this end, we propose to increase the knowledge of radar jamming by providing methods and algorithms to mitigate jamming. This requires gaining knowledge of the FMCW radar system and statistical models to describe the jamming process in all available domains.

Implementation

The studies related to radar interference modeling will result in the design of new hardware and the development of new algorithms to deal with radar interference. The project involves two companies (Axis and SafeRadar) that are involved in all steps of the process.
