Research domain: Applied Health Technology
I became a licensed Occupational Therapist in 2015 at Jönköping University. In 2017, I obtained my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, with a focus on activity and health from a gerontological perspective. I have worked clinically mainly in the geriatric care field but also in psychiatry and as a research coordinator for RiksSår.
I defended my dissertation in 2024 at Linnaeus University in health sciences with the thesis ‘Understanding Sedentary Behavior in Older Adults: The Role of Lived Experience, Embodied Navigation, and Daily Physical Activity’ and am now working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Applied Health Technology at BTH.
As a postdoctoral researcher, my research focus is sustainable aging in relation to the role of activity in the digital society
