Doctor in medical science, certified physiotherapist, MDT degree. I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Health at Blekinge University of Technology. I have many years of experience as a physiotherapist in primary care and in 2020 I defended the thesis “Physiotherapy in primary care for working-age patients with early back and neck pain – screening tools, interventions and outcomes” at Lund University Physiotherapy in primary care for working-age patients with early back and neck pain. Screening tools, interventions and outcomes. | Lund University Publications. All studies were done within the framework of WorkUp – a clinical intervention study for patients with early neck and/or back pain.
Since 2021, I am a member of the National Working Group for person-centered and integrated care for low back pain in adults.
Research area: Back and neck pain, physiotherapy, primary care, implementation of patient centered coordinated care pathways and Health in the digital society.
