Alper Idrisoglu

Mr. Alper Idrisoglu has a strong interest in developing health technology that makes a real difference for both patients and healthcare professionals. He earned a Master’s degree in Media Technology and Computer Science in 2021, and subsequently began his research career as a PhD student at the Department of Health at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), with a focus on applied health technology, particularly voice-based diagnostics using machine learning techniques (ML). He has also obtained a Licentiate degree in Applied Health Technology in 2024 and a Doctoral degree in Applied Health Technology in 2025.

His teaching career began during his studies, when he assisted in laboratories and workshops for undergraduate students in subjects such as control engineering. Driven by a passion for technology and electronics, he has since taught several courses including control engineering, electrical engineering with a focus on IoT, measurement technology, and sensor systems fields in which he has been teaching for several years.

In addition to teaching, he has supervised master’s students in engineering programs. As his focus on health technology deepened, he also began supervising thesis projects for nursing students. Today, he teaches eHealth, contributing his interdisciplinary expertise at the intersection of technology and health.
