Giulia Wally Scurati
Lecturer
Department of Mechanical Engineering
Room J3425, Karlskrona
Giulia Wally Scurati obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with honours from Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on design methodologies to use Virtual and Augmented Reality for Sustainable Behaviour. She has a background in Product Design and Engineering with a focus on Interaction Design and Virtual Prototyping.
During her PhD research, she experimented with visualisation, gamification, persuasive technologies, and multi-sensory feedback to drive sustainable product development and pro-environmental and pro-social user behaviour. She currently focuses on the development of mixed reality collaborative platforms and serious games to support awareness in the industry and sustainable innovation in multidisciplinary teams.
