Follow me:
I am associated professor and professor at the departement of Health. I also work as head of research at Västra Götaland Region Competence Center Of Intimate Partner Violence, VKV in Gothenburg. I recived my PhD in 2014 after defending my thesis “Experiences of abuse during the life course – Disclosure and the care provided among women in a general psychiatric context”. My areas of research are intimate partner homicide, experience of violence among women, men and children, the consequences of violence, mental illness and violence in healthcare. I´m experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research but I am particularly interested in time geography. In time geography life events are mapped together with patients from a life course perspective, where the geography is an anchor for memory.
