BTH Card
All students who are registered for a course or program during the current semester can get a BTH card. The card is voluntary and free of charge.
If you are studying at a distance, you do not need a BTH card. Handling of the BTH card takes place at the reception located in building A on Campus Karlskrona.

Functions of the BTH card
- access card to the university premises
- identity card within the campus e.g. evenings and weekends
- printing on the university's printer
- identification for exams - other identity documents such as driving license and passport are valid
- library card (you must activate your library account first)
The BTH card is not linked to student discounts or similar.
Access to premises
Students with a BTH card have access to BTH's premises between 06:00-23:00, every day of the week. It is not permitted to stay on the premises at other times. During daytime hours, the campus is open and you do not need a BTH card to enter. At times when the campus is locked, you will need a PIN code linked to your BTH card. You can activate your PIN code at konto.bth.se.
It also works for computer rooms and some corridors depending on which program you are attending. If you need access to special lab rooms, your course coordinator will give you that authorization.
