Machine lab
In the Machine Lab, you will have access to a fully equipped workshop where you can make both prototypes and finished products. Everything you need to test, develop and realise your ideas is here.
In addition to a variety of hand tools, there are also:
- CNC milling - for precision machining
- Manual milling and turning - for flexible manufacturing
- Pillar drills - for accurate hole making
- Laser cutters - for precise cuts and engravings
The lab is open to students and staff at BTH who need tools and machines for their studies or projects. Do you want to use the larger machines? Then a short training is required for safe handling.
