BTH Research and Education Clinic
BTH has a unique research and education clinic - a dynamic meeting place where research, teaching and health technology development interact. It brings together academia, industry and the healthcare sector to create future solutions in health and technology.
The clinic consists of three activities that together drive research, education and clinical studies forward:
Health Technology Research Lab
This research environment conducts projects that explore how technology can support people of all ages for better health and quality of life. Here, researchers, doctoral students and partners from academia, industry, region and municipality collaborate in transdisciplinary projects that span the entire field of health technology.
Clinical Trials Unit
The unit conducts national and international clinical research projects in both physical and virtual environments. The unit has an experienced and well-trained staff that ensures high quality in recruiting participants and conducting studies. With its broad network and modern resources, the Clinical Trials Unit creates an attractive platform for clinical trials and collaborations between academia and industry.
Health Education Lab
The Health Education Lab serves as a training facility where students from the nursing program and advanced training programs have the opportunity to conduct health surveys, simulations and tests of new ways of working in healthcare. Teaching is closely linked to ongoing research projects, giving students a unique insight into how technology and innovation can improve healthcare.
