BTH idrottsakademi – föreläsning med Rayvon Fouché

Health & Sports Technology Initiative har bjudit in Rayvon Fouché, amerikansk forskare och författare, till en föreläsning om boken ”Game Changer – the techo-scientific revolution in sports”.

In this revealing book, Fouché examines a variety of sports paraphernalia and enhancements, from fast suits, athletic shoes, and racing bicycles to basketballs and prosthetic limbs. He also takes a hard look at gender verification testing, direct drug testing, and the athlete biological passport in an attempt to understand the evolving place of technoscience across sport. 

Rayvon Fouché is Director and Professor of American Studies at Purdue University. His work explores the multiple intersections between cultural representation, racial identification, and technological design.
