The purpose of the project SPIRIT (Sustainable Product Innovation for Rewarding Transformation) is to increase companies’ capabilities for developing competitive products that contribute to a sustainable society.

SPIRIT includes three subprojects with a focus on:

  1. Business opportunities and risks in society’s transition to sustainability.
  2. Assessment of products’ sustainability performance.
  3. User-centered and visualization-based digitalization of tools for sustainable product development.

Together, the subprojects create a synergy providing industry with coherent and digitalised tools for effective sustainable product innovation.

AGENDA

  • 13.00–13.30: Welcome – Henric Johnson, Vice-Chancellor at BTH.
  • 13.30–15.00: The Project Sustainable Product Innovation for Rewarding Transformation (SPIRIT) – Göran Broman, Matilda Sandgren Watz, Jesko Schulte and Valeria Garro.
  • 15.30 – 16.50: Challenges and Opportunities in the Sustainability Transition – Bertegruppen, Dynapac Compaction Equipment, GKN Aerospace and Wallenius Water Innovation – Helena Stenström, Pontus Jonsson.
  • 16.50–17.00: Closing remarks – Göran Broman.
