We see more and more goals and roadmaps for fossil freedom, but how do we get sustainable, coordinated and fast? And how do we manage the long term in an uncertain time with the Corona pandemic and other emergent crises? In this project, The Roadmapper, we develop a methodology and a wed based tool for decision support for a Sustainable Transport Transition.
We build on 30 years of research and practice with a strategic sustainability methodology and an overview roadmap for fossil free and sustainable passenger road transport. We are now broadening our focus to a region’s entire transport system. Our tool will help planners from different levels to navigate around the short term disruptions without losing sight of the long term goal. Key stakeholders from the national, regional and municipal levels are therefore actively involved.
Blekinge is used as a regional case study, with the aim of spreading knowledge on how to achieve flexible rapid transitions to other.
