Follow me:
Economist specialized in industrial economics and economic benchmarking (StoNED, DEA, and SFA among others), with additional extensive theoretical and practical experience within the field of microeconomics (consumer and production theory/optimization/industrial economics), data processing, business analytics and energy economics.
A large portion of my work is empirically based which has granted me the opportunity to become quite familiar with Python, R and Excel, but I have also previously worked in Stata, OxMetrics and SAS.
I currently serve two employers:
I serve as a PhD fellow with a primary focus on efficiency analysis and impact studies (DEA, SFA, StoNED, data harmonization methods, etc.). The empirical area of interest for my research is often utility companies and services (through my role as an Economist within the Danish regulator).
In addition to my research, I also participate as a board member in BTH’s PhD students’ committee and serve as the 2024 chairperson of the committee, along with various teaching responsibilities.
Furthermore, I serve as an economist at the Danish Utility Regulator (Forsyningstilsynet), where I work on developing benchmarking regulation (DEA, SFA, MOLS, etc.) with a special focus on the electricity distribution system operators, as well as general regulatory optimization across the utility sector.
