Patrik Klintenberg

I am a senior University lecturer and researcher with over 25 years of teaching and project experience. I have supervised several doctorate and Master’s students, published and reviewed numerous academic articles, taught Physical Geography, Environmental Engineering, and Spatial Planning, and dedicate time and effort to research and development projects, mainly in southern Africa.

I lived in Namibia for about 15 years, where I worked at an NGO and implemented projects in southern Africa in the environment and sustainable development fields. In collaboration with Chalmers Technical University, I manage a Sida-funded project in Mozambique. The focus is on academic capacity development in environmental engineering and sustainable development. My current research focuses on sustainable rural development related to southern Africa’s energy, water, and food nexus.
