Shafiqul Islam

University lecturer in computational mechanics at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Has a PhD in fracture mechanics within the framework of the packaging industry. The research focus is on methods and tools for simulation-driven product development, mainly with regard to material characterization and finite element modeling of cracks in packaging materials and sheet metal forming.
