Admission to the course requires, a bachelor's or university engineering degree in a technical field, 180 credits or 60 credits comppleted in technology, software engineering or industrial economcs. At least 5 credits must consist of courses in statistics. English 6.
The aim of the course is that the student develops in-depth knowledge of scientific theories and research methodology for both qualitative and quantitative studies in industrial economics. The aim is also to develop the student's ability to formulate research problems and research questions, anchor the study in previous research, apply and justify different methodological strategies and draw scientific conclusions based on both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. A certain focus is on quantitative approaches and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
