Students with disabilities

Students with disabilities

Blekinge Institute of Technology aims to be an open university, accessible to all. If you have a disability, for example dyslexia or some form of autism and would like to study at BTH, we can provide you with support during your studies.

If you have a disability and want to study at BTH you can receive learning support in different ways. BTH has a coordinator for students with disabilities. It is important that you contact the coordinator in good time before you begin your studies, preferably already when you apply for BTH, so that we can provide you with the best help possible.

The coordinator can be contacted via email:

In order to receive support, you must have a certificate stating that your disability is long-term or permanent.

At BTH we offer different kinds of learning support for instance literature in recorded form, note-taking and special arrangements for exams. If you are in need of a sign language interpreter, let us know this when you apply for BTH, as access to interpreters varies.
