Students with disabilities

Students with disabilities

Blekinge Institute of Technology aims to be an open university, accessible to all. If you have a disability, for example dyslexia or some form of autism and would like to study at BTH, we can provide you with support during your studies.

If you have a disability and want to study at BTH you can receive learning support in different ways. BTH has a coordinator for students with disabilities. It is important that you contact the coordinator in good time before you begin your studies, preferably as soon as you have been offered a place on your programme, so that we can provide you with the best help possible.

The coordinator can be contacted via email: funka@bth.se

In order to receive support, you must have a certificate stating that your disability is long-term or permanent.

At BTH we offer different kinds of learning support for instance literature in recorded form, note-taking and special arrangements for exams. If you are in need of a sign language interpreter, let us know this when you apply for BTH, as access to interpreters varies.
