Biography

Omid Gholami is currently a Research Fellow at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden. His research interests include scheduling theory, transportation optimization, algorithm, and computation. He was a member of the FLOAT project (Real-time decision support for railway traffic management) and BLIXTEN (evaluation of algorithms for real-time scheduling support) project at BTH.

He has graduated with honors in Computer Engineering from the Azad University (Iran) in 2008. He received his Ph.D. degree in Informatics from the united institute of informatics problems, the national academy of science of Belarus. His research area is scheduling theory and combinatorial optimization. He has published his research works in international journals and conferences, such as International Journal of Production Research, Automation and Remote Control, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and Algorithm journal. He was a faculty member er of computer engineering department, at Islamic Azad University- Mahmudabad Branch. Also, he was a visiting researcher at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, supported by OvGU Magdeburg (2015).
