Biography

Q.T. Pham received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyungpook National University, South Korea in 2020. After graduation, he came back to Vietnam and worked  as a researcher at Ton Duc Thang University. He joined the Dept. Mechanical Engineering, BTH from March 2022 as a postdoc researcher. He participated in several projects in collaboration with automotive industrial partners (Huyndai, Kia Motor Group, Volvo Cars). He contributed to more than 15 ISI journal articles, attended at least 06 international conferences in the field.

Research interests:

  • Theory of plasticity
  • Constitutive modeling of metallic materials
  • Sheet metal forming
  • Calibration and Identification of material model
  • FEM simulation of advanced manufacturing processes (additive manufacturing, friction stir welding, incremental sheet forming).
