Biography
The continuous servitization evolution within the manufacturing industries fosters a holistic view of value throughout the entire lifespan, blending the delivery of products and services to align with expectations. Recognized as Product-Service Systems (PSS), these systems present numerous complexity facets, particularly during the design phase, introducing uncertainties in design decision-making. An established strategy to address these uncertainties involves integrating changeability, allowing the system to change in the presence of uncertainty, ensuring value delivery, and achieving value robustness. My research focuses on understanding how changeability can be incorporated into PSS for developing a value-robust PSS, especially during the early design stages. Through my work, I aim to support the early design decision-making processes concerning identification, quantification, and valuation of changeability in PSS and pave the way for innovative solutions in the ever-evolving landscape of complex systems.
