Welcome letter MBA programme – Autumn-22 part-time 50% distance

Congratulations on your admission!

Welcome to the MBA programme

at Blekinge Institute of Technology!

The programme runs part-time from 29 August 2022 to 2 June 2024. Part-time means that you are expected to, on average, spend 20 hours per calendar week on your studies.

Please note, to keep your place on the programme, you must fulfil the steps in the section below: “Procedure to join the programme”. The mandatory course registration will open 29 July and close 8 August.

The e-mail Roll Call is held 29 August and means that you must e-mail the programme manager Henrik Sällberg (henrik.sallberg@bth.se) no later than 22:00 CET. State in the e-mail your full name and that you are ready to start your MBA-studies. If you are unable to send this e-mail 29 August for some reason (work travel for instance), send the e-mail 26 August before 22:00 hours CET instead.

An introduction meeting will be held 31 August at 15.00 CET to inform students on the conduction of the programme. The online conference tool “Zoom” will be used with this meeting link.

We encourage you to visit the page for Newly admitted students where you will find useful and practical information, including support and help with your next steps.

A warm welcome to BTH!

Equipment and digital tools

BTH requires students to use their own computers for studies. Your programme might have specific hardware or software requirements, make sure to check here if your program is listed and find out what you need. Additionally, for online education, ensure you have a camera, a headset with a microphone, and an internet connection.

All programs and courses use the online learning management system Canvas. Once you activate your student account and register for a course, you can access your Canvas course page. You can find more information about Canvas, Zoom, and other digital tools you have access to here.

Programme and courses

You can find programme syllabus and information on the programme's web page and Canvas page.

When you log in, you will find a link to each course on the MBA-programme. On each course site, carefully study the course guide to get a clear idea of teaching and learning activities. We have chosen to restrict scheduled activities in the programme to a minimum, written examinations are one of the exceptions. This makes your studies as flexible as possible, following that many of you are employed.

Once enrolled in the programme we will e-mail you the programme guide for the MBA-programme! This document represents an important source of information for you. It informs on conduction of the programme, administrative issues and what BTH expect from you as students and what you can expect from us.
