BTH at the first Bauhaus4EU forum in Portugal

BauhaUS

On 11-13 June, more than 100 representatives from the ten higher education institutions of the BAUHAUS4EU alliance gathered at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB) in Portugal for the first forum of the alliance. Among other things, a monument was inaugurated where Vanja Lindberg, deputy-vice-chancellor for Internationalisation, had the honour of taking part.

After successfully obtaining funding from the EU’s European Universities initiative, the BAUHAUS4EU alliance has now entered the implementation phase of the ambitious project. In the coming days, the first forum will be held with several participants from BTH. The purpose of the forum is to deepen the collaboration between the alliance’s partner institutions and external stakeholders.

The Forum will focus on innovation, sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics – the four pillars of the new European Bauhaus – and will feature interactive workshops, bilateral meetings and cultural events. Key agenda items include discussions on project governance, Council implementation, coordination of work packages, and strategic partnerships with both European and regional stakeholders.

The meeting supports the Alliance’s objectives of deepening co-operation, strengthening communication and long-term partnerships – and contributes to the vision of a more connected and forward-looking European Higher Education Area.
