Biography

Wen joined BTH in 2020 as a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Economics. With a primary focus on strategy and innovation, her research delves deeply into understanding top management behavior within the innovation process. She has a particular interest in exploring facets such as learning dynamics, management control mechanisms, managerial sensemaking processes, and leadership behavior. Much of her research methodology involves rigorous analysis of large longitudinal datasets gathered through qualitative, process-oriented case studies conducted within multinational corporations.

In addition to her established expertise in strategy and innovation, Wen is actively expanding her research agenda to include the intersection of sustainability and digitalization. Through her work, she aims to provide valuable insights into how organizations can navigate the complexities of contemporary business landscapes while embracing sustainable practices and leveraging digital technologies for growth and adaptation.

Wen teaches courses in Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation. She is also the Deputy Program Director of Civil Engineer Program in Industrial Economics at BTH, and responsible for the online course package in Industrial Economics.
