Experience, games and digital media

In Summon@BTH you search among the library’s collections of books, electronic books and journals, conference proceedings and dissertations etc. This means that you search simultaneously in all the separate databases the library subscribes to.

The library catalogue covers the library’s own books, both in print and electronic. When you search the catalogue you are directed to the national library database Libris. When BTH is preselected you find our books. Should you like to find books at other university libraries, you can remove the BTH preselection. You can make interlibrary loans at no charge. Electronic books at other universities can not be accessed, only when we have access to that title at BTH.

Journals and articles

The easiest way to find articles in electronic journals is to use Summon. If you want to find a particular journal you can use the link “Find journal”. You can search for journals by subject or title. Since Summon searches all databases simultaneously, and if you want to limit the search results to a specific subject field, you can choose a database that specializes in that particular subject.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a search engine that specializes in finding scientific litterature on the Internet: articles, abstracts, dissertations, books and other scientific documents. Our recommendation is to use primarily Google Scholar, which gives you higher quality documents and more authoritative information. Use the library’s link to Google Scholar in order to get access to the resources the BTH library subscribes to.
